LUCO Architecture and Urbanism

 

 In the LUCO Architecture and Urbanism, we believe that transforming urban space is driving a more sustainable, intelligent and humane society. Since 2017, we have been developing projects that combine architectural excellence, technological innovation and environmental responsibility.

 With a presence in Brazil and Chile, our multidisciplinary team creates urban and architectural solutions that value the local context, promote quality of life and encourage sustainable development.

 We work solidly with the public and private sectors, contributing to urban policies, public works and innovative private initiatives.

 We are exclusive representatives of the Chilean company Sustainable Construction in Brazil, incorporating methodologies for projects with high energy efficiency, sustainability assessment and certification.

 We expanded our operations in smart cities through a partnership with the Brazilian company SmartUrb, specialized in Artificial Intelligence solutions for urban management, aligned with ISO 37120, ISO 37122 and ISO 37123 certifications, as well as the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

 We also strengthened our expertise in industrialized construction with the partnership of the Chilean company Vaspanel, a reference in the manufacture and production of panel construction systems SIP (Structural Insulated Panels), and the Brazilian Thermoconcrete, specialized in the production of monolithic panels in EPS. These partnerships enable clean, fast, safe and highly efficient construction solutions.

 Our work encompasses a variety of scales and typologies: urban projects, smart cities, institutional, residential, corporate, commercial, renovations (facelift), interiors, landscaping, as well as modular and containerized industrialized solutions. Rodrigo Luco

I am Rodrigo Luco, an urban architect with over 18 years of international experience, working in Brazil and Chile. My career is marked by the convergence of architecture, urban planning, innovation and sustainability. With a degree in Architecture and Urban Planning, I have furthered my education with the following specializations:

• Postgraduate degree in Urban and Territorial Planning from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, in Barcelona (2012).
• Postgraduate degree in Urban and Environmental Law from the Faculty of Law of Sorocaba, in Sorocaba (2010).
• MBA in Smart City Expert from iCities Academy, in Curitiba (2024).

I am an urban architect registered with CAU Brasil and also qualified in the Municipality of Las Condes, in Santiago de Chile, with a professional license to work in both countries.

My work includes emblematic projects in both the fields of architecture and urban planning, including participation in revisions of Master Plans and leadership of initiatives that promote more humane, efficient and sustainable urban spaces. Founder and managing partner of LUCO Arquitetura e Urbanismo, I am also a representative in Brazil and an active member of the Chilean company Construye Sustentable. I believe in the transformative potential of the urban environment to create smarter, less violent and more balanced cities with the planet.
